The United Kingdom is made up of Islands that are separate from the rest of Europe in more than just a physical way.  As the largest nation in the UK, England has her own style which stems from her own traditions and customs and borrows from the people and cultures of all those who visit.

Our favorite tradition of England is the English breakfast.  Our hosts, Debs and Glenn, prepared a gigantic one for us which consisted of tea (of course), bacon, Lincolnshire sausage, eggs, tomato salsa and mushrooms.  It was delicious.  Cheers Debs and Glenn.

Rain, red buses and old fashion black taxis are everywhere in London all of the time.

The trademark red phone booths make you want to call home and speak in a British accent.

Fish and Chips for lunch after an English breakfast is enough to make you put on at least a few "stones" (English for 14 pounds).

The Pub is the meeting place for all.  It is an institution.  It is a sport.  It is an event.  The Pub is England.
